Special Downloadable Print With Donation to ACLU

Like many people who enjoy freedom and diversity, the past couple weeks of watching Donald Trump tear America apart has been pretty painful. I am lucky to live in Canada, where we’re not perfect, but HOT DOG are we not doing as bad as the states is starting to do. I have endless empathy for the people who didn’t vote for him, and are now forced to live in a country where racism, sexism, xenophobia, and every other type of discrimination is starting to bubble and boil and become the social norm. Heck, some of that shit is starting to come up here too, it’s like this weird excuse to be a frigging hate filled piece of shit.

I digress, it’s become apparent that by banding together some resistance can happen, and is happening. Example being ACLU suing the government for the ban on travel from certain muslim countries, and halting the decision to be a bunch of flaming turds.

I’m just an illustrator from Winnipeg, but what I can do is create work that sends a message, and hopefully even drums up funding for people doing the work that I can’t. With that here’s the first thing I’ve done. There’s a link to download a copy and print yourself. It’s an 8″x10″ design so it’ll fit right into a ready made frame.

I’m going to honour system because production/etsy fees are too cumbersome to make donation efficient immediately. I’m asking if you download the print PLEASE donate what you can to ACLU here. If you donate something let me know in the comments! I would be so happy to know that I’m helping even in a little way.

Also stay tuned for upcoming projects to donate to Planned Parenthood and other deserving organizations fighting for the rights of everyone 🙂
