Hello!
I was busy this weekend having a lot of fun making some art! I thought I would share them with the internet before they went up for sale in Double D’s Cheesecake. I have to hustle to support my antique lamp addiction, you know?
Spaced
The first one I made is really cool and I call it “Spaced”, it’s acrylic on canvas, bluey purples and blacks to look like outer space with little neon yellow dots throughout to make up the night sky. If you look really close you may even be able to see some constellations! It is approx. 11″ x 30″ including the light wood frame it’s attached to. I’m selling it for $150.
Abstract floral
The next is sold as a set, it’s fiery reds, purples, pinks, and yellows to make a blurred abstract flower (the photo wasn’t able to capture the real colours, definitely want to check it out in person). The background is a minty green. Acrylic on canvas, 8″x10″, $100 for both.
Hydrangea Bloom
Pretty flowers, annoying name. This one is a painting of some summery blooms of the hydrangea flower. They’re so big a beautiful and luscious. Also in one of my favourite colours at the moment, periwinkle purple. They’re painted onto a series of greens as the background. The size of the painting is 14″x11″, it’s acrylic on canvas and is selling for $70
hand-painted periwinkles (Keeping Up Apperances)
These ones are pretty and peach. They have an ivory and tan background, periwinkle dots with off white dots, also neon pink speckles and squiggles very subtly in the painting. They are 11″ square ($55), and 11″ x 17″ ($75).
Splash Dance
Last but not least the couple known as Splash Dance. This one was a lot of fun, I worked in greens, yellow, peaches, blues, and purples! It’s got everything going on, so fresh! These ones are acrylic on canvas, 12″ square, sold separately for $80 each.
